MATH IN DAY TO DAY LIFE
What do going out for dinner, choosing a shampoo, or planning a holiday
all have in common? You’ve guessed it: maths. Numerical and logical
thinking play a part in each of these everyday activities, and in many
others. A good understanding of maths in everyday life is essential for
making sense of all the numbers and problems life throws at us.
Abstract:
Mathematics is based on deductive reasoning through man's first experience with mathematical work of an inductive nature. This means that the deductive system involves four things
I) a set of primitive terms
II)definitions involved from the undefined term
III)axioms or postulates
IV) theorem and their proofs;
We also include some historical remarks on the nature of mathematics.
